Makeup really is an art.
We’re huge believers in the power of makeup around here. Putting a face on can turn an average day around, and if it’s applied by a serious pro, so much the better.
So with that in mind, the before and after shots posted on Georgian makeup artist Anar Agakishiev’s Instagram bring us more than a little joy.
Agajishiev, who was born in Tbilisi but now lives in Baku, Azerbaijan, has a varied clientele. From weddings to red carpet makeup, the 32-year-old turns his hand to it all.
The man is clearly very talented, is what we’re saying. Some of our favourites from his feed, though, are the looks he’s done on older women.
Talk about a confidence boost.
It does look like Agakishiev brings his talents to Dubai sometimes, so if you’re after that more-is-more aesthetic, we’d recommend dropping him a line.
In the mean time, we’ll just be keeping a close eye on his IG.
